LEWISTON — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh-grade baseball team lost its season opener to Lewiston, 7-2 on Monday.
The game was tied 2-2 when Lewiston scored four runs in the fourth inning. Hunter Lohr, Willie Kavanaugh and Devin Tobin all pitched well for Mt. Ararat. Lohr was the lone repeat hitter for the Eagles.
Austin Damon turned in a couple outstanding catches in right field.
