TOPSHAM— The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team opened up itsdseason on Friday with a 44-23 win over Tripp.
Will Kavanaugh and Henry Doyle led the way with 12 and eight points, respectively, while Jared Balser chipped in with six and Austin Damon and Shane Clark four each.
Turning in strong floor games were Max Spelke, Hunter Lohr, Jax Hollenbach, Ben Freeman and Sean Roberts.
Dylan Turner led Tripp with 12 points and a numerous rebounds.
