PINE TREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE recognized Jonathan Reitman, a Brunswick attorney, for 30 years of distinguished service on the Pine Tree Legal Assistance Board of Directors during a Nov. 21 event at First Parish Pilgrim House, where Executive Director Nan Heald, left, presented Reitman with a plaque. Reitman is a partner with the Brunswick firm Gosline & Reitman, focusing on mediation, training, conflict resolution and consulting. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and has served as adjunct faculty there since 1996. Reitman has served on Pine Tree’s Board of Directors since 1983 and currently serves as chairman of the Negotiations Committee. Pine Tree Legal Assistance is Maine’s oldest and largest statewide legal aid provider. Its mission is to ensure that state and federal laws affecting poor people are upheld, while addressing barriers to justice faced by Mainers with low incomes.
