BATH — InspireME Personal Fitness and Wellness will host its 10th annual Turkey Trot in downtown Bath on Thanksgiving Day.
This annual three-mile event attracts many community members and raises money for the Bath Area Food Bank and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. It’s a fun, healthy and family friendly way to start the holiday while helping community members struggling for their next meal.
Pre-race Registration takes place at the Bath Customs House, 1 Front St., 7 to 8:15 a.m., and the trot begins at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is $20, by check or cash and/or nonperishable food items for a child’s entry. Funds raised will help buy food for local people in need of a meal and to provide support for our brave men and women that serve in our military.
Dogs are alowed but must be on leashes.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
