WISCASSET — Have you ever wanted to visit France, the Bahamas or Westport Island? You might, with the Morris Farm’s vacation property raffle.
Three properties have been generously donated. Money from the raffle will support the Morris Farm’s educational programming for youth and adults, and enhance the commercial kitchen to expand the offering of community classes.
France and the Bahamas come with $300 travel vouchers, thanks to donations from The First, Wiscasset; Midcoast Federal Credit Union, Edgecomb; and First Federal, Wiscasset.
Tickets are $25 each, or five for $100, and only 500 will be sold. Each raffle location will be drawn separately. Tickets can be purchased securely on the website. Drawings will be held Thursday, Nov. 21. The Morris Farm is a nonprofit educational farm at 156 Gardiner Road. Visit www.morrisfarm.org for more information.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
