HAMPDEN (AP) — Maine State Police say the body of a woman recovered from the Penobscot River has been identified.

The Maine medical examiner’s office identified the woman Tuesday as 51-yearold Barbara Goodwin of the Bangor area. An autopsy found that her death was consistent with drowning.
