
Morris, who owns and operates Pierce Studio in Brunswick, successfully completed the requirements required to keep his CPP designation.
Every three years, CPPs must show that they have maintained the mark of excellence that the CPP designation represents. Morris earned this designation after meeting the requirements that measure his technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently recognizes less than 2,000 Certified Professional Photographers.
PPA is the leading body for certifying imaging professionals in the U.S. Certified Professional Photographers must pass a written examination, submit a portfolio for review and adhere to a strict code of conduct that upholds their mark of excellence.
Morris is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and is a past president of the Maine Professional Photographers Association. Morris’ work may be viewed at www.piercestudio.com.
