BOWDOIN — On Sunday, the Country Fareways Par-3 Golf Course held its annual Club Championship.
Richard Gower of Richmond won the title, posting a 70 for the two rounds (10 holes each round: front 34, back 36). This is the second Club Championship for Gower, his first coming in 2011. Chuck Kelley of Portland is the only other Club Champion with two wins, the last being 2012.
Course owner Dennis Gallant scored a 72 (front 36, back 36) and tied with George Lamarre of Brunswick (front 38, back 34).
