The Orion Performing Arts Center — School Administrative District 75’s theater inside Mt. Ararat Middle School — will hold a delicious event on Nov. 6.
The Orion Advisory Committee is raising money to refurbish the theater—to replace the stage floor, paint the back wall, and improve curtains and lights.
“Dining for a Cause” will take place at the 99 Restaurant, Topsham Fair Mall Road. Bring a voucher to lunch or dinner that day and 99 Restaurant will donate 15 percent of a patron’s bill to the Orion’s Capital Needs Fund.
The Orion Advisory Committee said the improvements will make the stage safer and more useful for performances.
Vouchers are available at the Mt. Ararat Middle School or can downloaded from the Orion’s website, www.orionperformingartscenter.org.
