WEST BATH

Dragonfly Kids, at 144 State Road, resells gently used children’s clothing. However, some of the items parents bring in don’t sell, leading to a surplus of clothes and other donated items.

Thursday and Friday this week, the store is sorting clothing by gender and age and packing everything up to send to charities.

“We’ve collected a huge amount of stuff that can’t be sold because of tiny stains, but we can use additional donations, and some volunteers to help sort,” said Tiffany Murchison, store owner.

Murchison said they are looking for children’s clothing in all sizes, and maternity clothing. Items can be dropped off at Dragonfly Kids until Thursday.

She said they want the donations to look appealing, not just “a wad of clothes in a garbage bag.”

Volunteers will meet 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday 1 to 3 p.m. Friday to sort and pack.
