WISCASSET — Wiscasset High School Student Council is hosting its second annual Haunted High School on Friday, Oct. 25, 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Wiscasset High School, located at 272 Gardiner Road.

Kids can choose which haunted path to take. There will be a section of the school designed for younger children, with face painting and candy included.

There will also be an awesome dark and spooky tour complete with sound effects through the high school for older kids, which will be full of scary surprises and frightening sights — “just enough to make the hair on the back of the neck stand up.”

Free candy will be a part of the experience for the older kids, as well.

Those in kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome.

The cost is $5 to enter.

Proceeds will benefit the annual fundraiser for Maine’s needy military and their families for the upcoming holiday season.
