BRUNSWICK — Eva G. Racine, 98, of Thornton Hall died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Brunswick on July 6, 1915, the daughter of Michel and Lea Guertin Racine. Eva attended Brunswick schools and was a 1934 graduate of Brunswick High School.
For 42 years, starting in high school, Eva worked at Brunswick Savings, retiring in 1976 as a vice president.
She was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and was a member of the Evergreens.
Surviving are four sisters, Anne M. Racine of Brunswick, Lorraine L. Johnson of West Bath, Mae Belle R. Racine of Brunswick and Yvette Chaney of Berwick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick. Private interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick, ME 04011. Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
