Brunswick
Artforms, the native company that designs and manufactures t-shirts and other Pine Tree State-themed products, is the featured exhibitor during today’s Second Friday ArtWalk along Maine Street.
The exhibit will be on display today from 5-8 p.m., and throughout October, at Cool As A Moose, 128 Maine St. It offers a chronological look at the company’s artistic evolution since it was established in 1988.
Cool As A Moose is Artforms’ own marketing arm, with retail locations from Bar Harbor to Portland, and was named the state’s 2011 retailer of the year by the Maine Retail Association.
Artforms relocated its operations from Westbrook to downtown Brunswick in 2012 after a complete renovation and expansion of the building which formerly housed the Grand City storefront.
Brunswick’s regular art walk event is coordinated by Five Rivers Arts Alliance, an organization that works to strengthen neighboring communities through the arts and other cultural activities. For more information, call 373-9918.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
