TOPSHAM — The Coastal Youth Orchestra will offer violin lessons to beginners in a new 10-week program!
Students age 7-11 interested in learning and exploring the violin will have the opportunity to work with CYO conductor Nancy Roderick in a group lesson setting.
Roderick is the founder of CYO and teaches music and strings at the Merriconeag Waldorf School in Freeport. She is well known for her enthusiasm and sensitivity while working with young string players and for her dedication to music education.
The lessons will be offered on Tuesdays at Mt. Ararat High School band room from 3:30 to 4 p.m. beginning Oct. 8 through Dec. 10.
Fee for this session will be $125 and instruments will be included.
