LISBON

The town announced Thursday that, in conjunction with the energy utility Unitil, it is asking Lisbon residents and businesses to participate in a questionnaire to gauge the interest level to convert to natural gas.

According to the town, submitting a survey will not financially obligate anyone to convert to natural gas, and does not mean that  upon completion of the survey, natural gas will be installed in the area at no cost.

The “Natural Gas Questionnaire” can be picked up at the Lisbon town office or found online at www.lisbonme.org. Surveys must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
