Debbie Smith said her younger sister was released from Mid Coast Hospital on Aug. 16, and that she is recovering well but is in a lot of pain.

“She’s having trouble getting around, she has to use a walker,” the elder Smith said.

Debbie Smith said the family has agreed to chip in money for a $100 reward for information leading to identification of the truck and its driver.

Police have yet to locate witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Patrick Mahar at 725-5521.
