BOWDOINHAM — Ornithologist Will Broussard will lead a “morning bird sounds walk” on Stevens Road from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 as part of the Friends of Merrymeeting Bay Summer Outside series.
Broussard, the outreach coordinator for Mount Washington Observatory, studied conservation biology at Antioch University New England graduate school, is a Bowdoinham native and “is passionate about the birds found around Merrymeeting Bay,” according to a news release.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes offering protection from mud and water. The walk, located at 42 Stevens Road, will occur rain or shine. For more information, contact Kathleen McGee at 666-3598.
