BRUNSWICK — Each year in August, the anniversary month of its opening, At Last…Salon & Day Spa hosts a silent auction to benefit a local charity or organization. Coastal Humane Society, specifically its Great Dane Rescue program, is the beneficiary of the salon’s third anniversary this year.
The auction runs through the end of the month. Goods and services have been donated by area businesses, artists and supporters. Patrons can view and bid on items at the 185 Park Row salon.

More than $2,500 was raised in 2012 and was contributed to defray costs of feeding, houisng and caring for animals housed at Caostal Humane Society.
