BRUNSWICK — Dr. Richard Corbin is the new medical director for Oasis Health Network.
Corbin is a Virginia native who worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Togus, at St Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, and Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. He and wife Claire, a pediatrician, live in Phippsburg.
Started in 1995, Oasis serves more than 600 uninsured people in the Bath and Brunswick areas, offering free medical and dental clinics, and prescription drug assistance. Oasis conducted over 4,400 visits in 2012 — up more than 30 percent from 2010.
