The Times Record is excited to have two bright young volunteers joining the newsroom as editorial interns this summer.
Brad Waterhouse, of Topsham, is a communications and media studies major at the University of Southern Maine.
He delivered The Times Record for six years, wants to be a movie reviewer, and has taken college journalism courses such as “Writing for Popular Print Media” and “Writing for the Media.” He’ll also work parttime at Walmart, and comes with circulation director George Reichert’s highest reco mmenda- tion.

In high school, she wrote a number of letters to the editor, and some Op- Ed columns, which were published in The Times Record and The Portland Press Herald. She also works part-time at a local farmstand.
“It’s great to have youthful energy and eager, enthusiastic helping hands in our newsroom,” Managing Editor Bob Mentzinger said. “These are two of the best and the brightest young people in our area.”
