BATH — A yellow gold diamond pendant will be the single prize in a raffle that inaugurates a new series of “friendraiser” events sponsored by the Friends of Patten Free Library.
The raffle will be held during Heritage Days in Bath July 5-7. Tickets are on sale at the library and the library bookstore, and will also be available at the Book Sale at the Winter Street Center during
Heritage Days. Single raffle tickets are $10, or three for $25. Only 250 tickets will be sold.
Gwen Zaborowski, who is coordinating the raffle, said the item is a Ladies Estate 14K yellow gold diamond pendant “with a round brilliantcut diamond center surrounded by a sunburst diamond enhancer containing 11 round brilliant-cut diamonds.
Zaborowski said the unique piece, which has a replacement value of $1,200, is a gift from Springers Jewelry on Front Street in Bath, where it will be on display through July 6.
