BOWDOIN
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the intruder who apparently removed screens, entered the Rocky Ridge Orchard store and took tips and 20 lollipops.
Lt. Calvin Temple said the owner of Rocky Ridge Orchard, located off U.S. Route 201, left the store around 8 p.m. Thursday. Employees discovered money was missing from the tip jar and an estimated $5 in lollipops also gone the next morning.
The burglary was reported Friday at 8:10 a.m.
Temple said the missing cash and lollipops, which appear to have been bubble-gum-filled Blow Pops, total about $100.
Temple said this morning there are no suspects.
