BRUNSWICK GOLF CLUB head golf professional Chris Doherty and fellow employee Pete Flint wanted to help raise money for new golf course maintenance equipment, so they decided to plan a day of golf in which they would try to play 100 holes of golf in one day. On Monday, the two achieved that goal by playing 121 holes in just under 16 hours. Getting fellow members and friends of the club to pledge per hole or donate a set amount if they played at least 100 holes, Doherty and Flint raised over $6,000 which the club hopes to put towards a new greens roller or mower. Adding to their donation total was a birdie bonus, which people donated for every birdie they made. The two combined for an amazing 29 birdies on the day, which included Flint posting a 5-under 30 for one of his back nine scores. They are shown here teeing off together on the 18th hole.
