BRUNSWICK — Backlash will perform Wednesday, June 26, during the Music on the Mall series kickoff event from 6-8 p.m.
The free concert features classic rock, blues, oldies and country music at the gazebo on the town mall on Maine Street.
People are encouraged to bring a picnic, order take-out, bring a blanket or chair, and come out and enjoy the show. When possible, a Thursday rain date will be offered.
The series, sponsored by Brunswick Downtown Association, continues weekly through Aug. 28.
Other scheduled performances include: July 3, The Work Trucks (country grunge); July 10, Back Woods Road (folk, rock, blues and country); July 17, Cinnamon (female infused rock); July 24, Big Chips Trio (folk, rock and blues); July 31, Bath Municipal Band; Aug. 7, Hey Buddy (acoustic duo); Aug. 14, Colwell Brothers Band (blues, rock ’n’ Roll); Aug. 21, Children’s Night with Annie Sparling (children’s sing-a-long); Aug. 28, Sean Mencher (rockabilly).
