BOOTHBAY HARBOR — The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce has announced that 10 tall ships will be at this year’s 51st annual Windjammer Days Festival, June 25 and 26.

The schooners are scheduled to appear in Linekin Bay on Tuesday and in the harbor on Wednesday.

Maine Maritime Museum in Bath is offering a cruise to see the windjammers on Wednesday. The cruise departs Bath at 10 a.m. and returns about 4 p.m. The cost is $50, $45 for members and $30 for ages 6-16. There will be time to tour Boothbay Harbor before the return trip. The Windjammers that will arrive for the celebration include American Eagle (www.schooneramericaneagle.com), Alert; Bowdoin (www.mainemaritime.edu), Nathaniel Bowditch (www.windjammervacation.com), Eastwind (www.schoonereastwind.com), Lazy Jack (www. schoonerlazyjackcruises.com), Lewis R. French (www.schoonerfrench.com), Timberwind (www.schoonertimberwind.com), Heritage (www.schoonerheritage.com), Sherman Zwicker (www.schoonermuseum.org) and Windfield Lash.

The annual Windjammer Days Festival will feature its classic line-up of events, which include a One Design Boat Race; Windjammer Days Golf Tournament fundraiser for Community Fireworks, the hometown street parade; an antique boat parade of more than 30 boats; second annual Artists Alley; 10 waterfront concerts; tours of the U.S. Coast Guard facility and Maine State Aquarium; kid’s tent; two-day craft show; boat excursions; and a spectacular firework display over the harbor.

Visitors can enjoy a complimentary shuttle during the festival.
