KENNEBEC ESTUARY LAND TRUST members join ecologist Andy Cutko in the fields and forests of Merrymeeting Fields Preserve to learn skills to identify and conserve Maine’s unique habitats. The Bath-based conservation group kicks off its spring stewardship series with a Botany and Habitat Management workshop Saturday, June 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Woolwich. The workshop will provide local landowners with the tools to investigate the habitats vital to the region that could very well be present on their own properties.
