PORTLAND — “Singing for a New Day” will be performed by Women in Harmony on Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m. at Woodford’s Congregational Church, 202 Woodford St.
This concert celebrates the spirit of hope for change and social justice that is part and parcel of the chorus’ reason for singing, a news release said.
Tickets are available at Longfellow Books and Starbird Music in Portland, and at Nonesuch Books in South Portland. $12 advance, $10 student/ senior, $15 at the door.
