BRUNSWICK

A Woolwich man was transported to Maine Medical Center late Wednesday morning after a crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck on Mill Street.

The crash was reported at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday on Mill Street.

Brunswick Deputy Police Chief Marc Hagan said a new 2013 Dodge pickup truck driven by Christopher Byron, 24, of Millinocket, was driving on Mill Street yielding to traffic on Route 1 when a 1991 BMW motorcycle, driven by Duane Paluska, 76, of Woolwich, struck the rear of the pickup truck.

Paluska, who Hagan said was wearing a helmet, complained of pain over his entire body and was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was listed in satisfactory condition this morning, according to a hospital spokesperson.
