BRUNSWICK — A grand opening for the Merrymeeting Dog Park in Memory of Jake Horgan is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m.
Funded by private donations, the canine recreation area is the culmination of three years’ work by Brunswick Area Responsible K-9 Owners, or BARK. The group raised more than $40,000 to create the two-acre park adjacent to the Androscoggin River Bicycle Path, just east of the Rt. 196 overpass.
