Ecomaine has announced it is offering $10,000 in recycling grants to schools in its member communities.
There is no age requirement or limit, and private and public schools are eligible.
Information about the grants, the application process and brief case studies of successful programs already working in schools will be provided at a meeting 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 29 at 64 Blueberry Road, Portland.
