BATH — It’s likely that whoever spray-painted a vulgarity on a building owned by the Elim Assembly of God also sprayed graffiti on a South Street residence, police said Monday morning.
Lt. Robert Savary said that in both cases, the vandal used orange spray paint.
A caller reported at 10:58 a.m. last Saturday that someone had vandalized the church-owned building at 756 Middle St. The letters were garbled, Savary said, but appeared to be a commonlyknown vulgarity.
“It would be even more concerning if it was based on religious beliefs,” Savary said.
The second call came at 7:43 p.m., from 100 South St. Someone sprayed the building with the word “anarchy,” Savary said.
