Family and friends gathered on April 20, 2013, at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston to mark the occasion. The event was hosted by their family.
Jeannine worked at Bradless and The Times Record, while Alfred was a fabricator at BIW. They are both now retired.
Their children are Kenneth Lacharite, deceased as an infant; John Lachairte of Bath; Lisa Parechanian and her husband Gary of Scarborough; Vikki Toothaker and her husband Marty of Bath, and Jay Lacharite and his wife Sara of Litchfield.
The couple have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
