The Cathance River Education Alliance and Topsham Public Library present “Bear Management, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the library.
Maine Department of Inland Fisheries wildlife ecologist John Wood will describe his research and close encounters with Maine black bears.
The program is family friendly, free and open to the public.
Wood works on “The Bear Crew,” charged with species management and collecting data on the health and survival of Maine black bears.
