Martin grew up in New York City and has spent much of her life in North Carolina, where she became strongly interested in the nation’s lighthouses, evident in her seascapes. Since moving to Maine, Martin’s work has appeared in Banners Over Bath, outdoor art exhibits and Bath’s Third Friday Artwalks.
Also since arriving in Bath, Martin has developed a more modern design vision through the creation of murals for interior design. She now primarily paints murals. She has also combined her painting talent with teaching as she instructs painting courses at Regional School Unit 1 Adult Education Center.
