FALMOUTH

Maine Turnpike traffic leading to and from the welltraveled Falmouth spur will be disrupted in the months ahead due to bridge work.

Officials say the southbound ramp leading from the turnpike to the spur will close for three weeks beginning today, for a week in May or early June, and again from late May or early June until November.

The $3.5 million project includes partially replacing a bridge deck, replacing railings and raising the bridge.
