TOPSHAM — Merrymeeting Adult Education is offering Get Published!, led by Sherry Hanson, on Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Get Published! is a one-day workshop covering how to write for the web, sell articles and essays to magazines for money, and where to find markets for stories, poems and even book projects.
The cost of this one-day workshop is $46 for residents and $51 for nonresidents. Lunch is not included.
There are several valuable handouts to take home, including an ever evolving list of publishers, helpful websites, publishing basics, a sample query letter and resulting published article.
