TOPSHAM — Cathance River Education Alliance and Topsham Public Library invite the public to a special presentation about eagles, their amazing character, and their stories of courage after injury.

The presentation will be held at the library, 25 Foreside Road, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

Come meet Sky, a golden eagle, and hear about the two injured bald eagles currently being cared for at Wind Over Wings.

Hope Douglas founded the nonprofit organization about 20 years ago. Wind Over Wings brings live birds into classrooms, conference centers, auditoriums, places of worship and homes for environmental education programs.

Birds in their care are unable to survive in the wild.

Programs are conducted by trained educators and are free, family-friendly and open to the public.
