BATH — People interested in preparing for careers in law enforcement, detection and forensics are invited to participate in an information session at University College at Bath-Brunswick, noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 5.

The session will feature Richard Mears, associate professor of justice studies at the University of Maine at Augusta who was a deputy chief of police for 12 years in Maine law enforcement.

His expertise in the criminal justice field includes community policing and police civil liability.

Justice Studies courses are available at University College at Bath-Brunswick via distance learning technologies.
