PORTLAND (AP) — A landlord has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of killing two tenants inside their Biddeford apartment.

Police say James Pak, 74, shot the two tenants on Dec. 29 after arguing with them about late rent, snow shoveling and parking.

He’s been indicted on two counts of murder in the deaths of Derrick Thompson, 19, and his 18-year-old girlfriend, Alivia Welch, and attempted murder in the shooting of Thompson’s mother, Susan Johnson.
