BRUNSWICK
A Brunswick man discovered his pickup truck missing from his Jordan Avenue driveway Saturday morning.
Brunswick police got the call shortly before 8 a.m. Saturday that a man’s 1995 GMC 1500 pickup, which had been left unlocked with the keys in the vehicle, had been stolen overnight from his driveway along Jordan Avenue.
As an officer was entering the report in the computer, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan said Wiscasset police called to report a resident discovered the truck had been left in their driveway.
Hagan said police don’t know who took the truck. Someone needed a ride, he said, and also stole the GPS unit in the truck as well as about $100 in cash and various gift cards. The truck was not damaged.
