To the Editor:

President Obama has agreed to stop future cost-of-living increases every year for people on Social Security.

That’s not fair at all. The government doesn’t have anything to do with Social Security; it’s the people’s money they put in themselves, along with employers. But the government borrows from Social Security.

It doesn’t have the right to do that. It’s my money that I put there when I worked for Pejepscot Paper Company for 42 years.

I didn’t see the Congress take a pay cut. They make $175,000 to $200,000 a year in the Senate.

All these big boys working for the government, there are a lot of crooks up there we have to vote out of office.
