TOPSHAM — Cul de Sax saxophone quartet will present a concert of Christmas music Saturday at 7 p.m. at Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church, 84 Main St.
The quartet of soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes will be joined by their friends Buckley Hugo also on sax and Frank Vigneau playing piano.
They will perform in various combinations including duets, trios and as a quintet joined by piano on some pieces. The selections include both sacred and secular, with an original piece as well as a few seldom heard seasonal numbers.
The quartet is in its 20th year, and particularly enjoys playing for the holidays. There will be a community sing after the concert.
Admission is by donation of nonperishable food or cash, to benefit Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
