BATH — Bath artist Sandy Crabtree’s “First Snow at Two Lights” is one of Pine Tree Society’s 2012 holiday card paintings.
Crabtree taught art at Morse High School in Bath for almost 30 years. She became familiar with Pine Tree Society when one of her students attended Pine Tree Camp.
“I’ve been submitting work to Pine Tree Society every year for the last 20 years,” Crabtree said in a news release. “The years I didn’t win were just as great, as I could use it as a learning experience for my students about never giving up.”
Since 1969, the holiday cards have been a major source of revenue that supports Pine Tree Society’s complete range of professional services for Maine people with disabilities. Pine Tree Society helps people in Maine with disabilities lead richer, more socially connected lives.
Cards may be purchased securely at www.pinetreesociety.org, by calling 443-3341 or by coming to Pine Tree Society’s Bath office, located at 149 Front St.
