BRUNSWICK — The vinyl banners that promoted “Edward Hopper’s Maine” and “William Wegman: Hello Nature” and graced Maine Street during the summer exhibitions will be offered for sale at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art beginning today.
The limited-edition, two-sided banners, are available in various smaller sizes for $100, and in the larger sizes for $150. Very limited numbers of the Hopper and Wegman banners are available.
These banners are the originals that were installed on the street poles on Maine Street in downtown Brunswick the past two summers. The banners are available on a firstcome, first-served basis.
The museum is free and open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday evenings until 8:30 p.m.; and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. It is closed Mondays and national holidays. For more information, visit bowdoin.edu/art-museum.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
