“Of course I’m happy I prevailed,” Johnson said. “I’m delighted to be able to represent the people of my district in Augusta. Now it’s time to get down to business to get some action on jobs and the economy, to stop us from moving backward, and to help the people who have been struggling to stay in or to enter the middle class to get working again.”
The recount was conducted Tuesday in Augusta.
