TOPSHAM — Selectmen are slated to elect their chair and vice chair at the end of their 7 p.m. meeting today at the municipal building.
A public hearing is scheduled before selectmen consider adopting the General Assistance Ordinance and Appendix C, with no changes proposed for the General Assistance maximums for housing, effective from Oct. 1, 2012 to Sept. 30, 2013.
Selectmen will also consider accepting a $50 from Sandra Petty and a $100 donation from William Knowles to the fire and rescue department; and donation of a lap top computer to the town from Ruth and Leonard Lyons. The board will also vote an re-appointing Kimberly Mondonedo to the Historic District Commission.
Selectmen are scheduled to hear an update on Topsham Development Inc. and the town’s economic and community development department.
