The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to elect its chairperson and vice chairperson during its 5:30 p.m. meeting today at the Coombs Municipal Building.
Selectmen will hold a public hearing on the General Assistance Ordinance concerning updated housing maximums before taking action on the ordinance.
Selectmen are scheduled to act on the proposed creation of an Advisory Committee on Aging, then act on the by-laws for the committee. The board will also consider appointing people to the committee.
The board will also consider appointing Elaine Diaz to the Solid Waste Committee. Selectmen also will conduct their first review of the town newsletter policy.
Selectmen will elect their chairperson and vice chairperson at 5:30 p.m. today.
