LISBON — Stanley Doughty Jr. won the open seat on the Water Commission as a write-in candidate Tuesday, with 129 votes.
Town Clerk Twila Lycette said runners-up Bill Bauer got 23 write-in votes and Dan Bulick got 14 write-in votes.
Doughty said he took out nomination papers but missed the deadline to return them.
