Voters will decide Tuesday whether to overturn the June 12 municipal referendum vote banning use and sale of consumer fireworks.

The referendum question, the result of a successful petition effort by Selectman David Douglass, who argued the three-part ballot question on June 12 confused voters.

A “no” vote on Tuesday would keep the June 12 ordinance in place, while a “yes” vote would have the town follow state rules on sale and use of fireworks.
