PHIPPSBURG — Popham Chapel’s “Come to the Stable” program to benefit the homeless will take place 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at the chapel.

The event is to celebrate the meaning of Christmas by focusing on the birth of Jesus and to help the homeless, those for whom there is also “no room at the inn.”

The exhibit will consist of nativity sets from personal collections displayed in the chapel sanctuary, along with light refreshments served next door at the Popham Chapel House.

There is no admission fee; donations will be accepted to benefit the homeless.
